Richard Blears
Founder & CEO
Richard spent 12 years in policing across several roles and ranks before leaving to found Everblue. Richard trained as a Public Order Commander, Hostage and Crisis Negotiator and Firearms Officer before finishing his career as the operational lead for one of the largest IT transformations in policing history.
It was his last role that inspired him to found Everblue – identifying that technology in policing is best influenced by those who use it, whilst having a deep understanding of the technological requirements and challenges of operating safely for the benefit of public safety.
James Osborne
CTO
James has spent 20+ years working in technology across a broad range of roles and sectors. Most of the last 10 years has been spent supporting start-up and scale-up businesses through development and go to market in a variety of sectors, including FinTech, MedTech, EdTech and more.
Nick Gargan
Advisor
Nick has extensive experience advising firms in the technology and training sector and as an advisor to Everblue, he helps develop our strategy for the policing market. His background was in policing where he worked in several police forces and organisations at all ranks for almost three decades. Nick was the last Chief Executive of the National Policing Improvement Agency where he oversaw delivery of several national police technology systems. When not working with Everblue and other clients, Nick also volunteers as a member of several advisory groups that support the delivery of police IT strategies and programmes.
Hemant Patel
Advisor
Hemant joins the board of Everblue as the founder of Anumana and has a passion for ensuring organisations use technology in the most efficient manner. Hemant brings a wealth of experience in both the growth of start-ups, but also ensuring technology is leveraged for long term success in organisations. When not supporting Everblue and his other clients, Hemant also leads the Anumana Code Acadamy, teaching code to children from underprivileged backgrounds.
Sara Lewis
Advisor
Sara brings an enormous wealth of experience bridging the vital relationship between Everblue, Police Forces and the CPS. Sara most recently was the head of the prosecutions for the Metropolitan Police Service and leads Everblue in our criminal justice strategy and has overseen the implementation of some of the largest changes in the interaction between policing and the CPS.
